China Extends Visa-Free Travel to 12 Countries Until 2025

China has extended its visa-free travel program for citizens of 12 countries until December 31, 2025. This visa waiver extension aims to boost tourism and cultural exchange between China and these nations.

Nationals from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland can now visit China for short-term trips free of visa restrictions.

China had dropped visa requirements for several countries at the end of 2023, including Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Travelers from Luxembourg, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Ireland, and Switzerland were granted visa exemption

Passengers evacuated after plane tire bursts while landing in Turkey – the second incident in two days

Nearly 200 people were evacuated from a plane in Turkey on Thursday after one of its tires burst during landing.

Turkey’s transportation ministry said no one was hurt in the incident at Gazipasa airport near the Mediterranean coastal town of Alanya.

The Boeing 737-800, belonging to Turkey-based Corendon Airlines, stopped safely on the runway after landing.

It was the second incident at a Turkish airport in as many days.
