Passengers evacuated after plane tire bursts while landing in Turkey – the second incident in two days

Nearly 200 people were evacuated from a plane in Turkey on Thursday after one of its tires burst during landing.

Turkey’s transportation ministry said no one was hurt in the incident at Gazipasa airport near the Mediterranean coastal town of Alanya.

The Boeing 737-800, belonging to Turkey-based Corendon Airlines, stopped safely on the runway after landing.

It was the second incident at a Turkish airport in as many days.

Slieve Russell Hotel in Cavan for sale for around €35m

The well-known Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club in Cavan has been put on the market with a price tag of €35m.

The hotel has 224 bedrooms, as well as banqueting and leisure facilities, and is situated on 300 acres of land, which includes a PGA Championship golf course, a 9-hole par 3 course and driving range.

The property is being sold by CBRE on behalf of the liquidators of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, Kieran Wallace and Eamonn Richardson, of Interpath Advisory.

First opened in 1990, the property has had around €7.5m invested in it since 2019.

Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel hopes grand reopening brings golden age for the sleepy desert town – NBC 7 San Diego

One of the smallest and often forgotten towns in San Diego County could see a revival with the revamped Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel. Wyndham Hotels beats Q1 earnings estimates, misses on revenue

PARSIPPANY, NJ – Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: NYSE:) reported adjusted first quarter earnings of $0.78 per share, marginally surpassing the analyst estimate of $0.76. However, the company’s revenue for the quarter fell short of expectations, coming in at $305 million compared to the consensus estimate of $312.3 million.

The 0.4-acre property identified as a prime location for the new hotel is a city-owned plaza located on the east side of South Jefferson Street, south of East Fifth Street, across the street from the convention center.
