Mondee announced the launch of Mondee Travel Marketplace featuring Abhi, its AI-powered travel assistant platform that simplifies the cruise booking process.

Mondee’s Marketplace features an integrated cruises platform allowing users to easily browse and book a cruise of their choice. Travel agents can also benefit from the app as it simplifies the process of supporting their customer base.

The number of TTAND agents now tops 1,250, with support from 63 TTAND staff members, including 37 in Canada and 26 in India. “Why two teams? It helps keep costs down, and allows us to allocate more money for things like marketing and training,” said Friisdahl.

That 1,250+ total includes 109 agents who joined TTAND in the past 18 months. In addition, there are 886 more people in the pipeline. “Some people say the retail travel industry is dying. I don’t think so,” said Friisdahl.

Vigilance Bureau’s Ludhiana range economic offense wing on Tuesday arrested the aide of a city-based travel agent accepting a bribe of ₹20,000 from a resident of New Sodhi Nagar, Moga, claiming that he could help her backdoor appointment at the passport office.

NEW DELHI: At least 11 agents involved in sending ineligible people to foreign countries using forged documents were arrested in September, police said on Friday. One of the arrested agents has been identified as Barinder Singh (30) from Punjab. Singh and other arrested persons allegedly ran a racket that targeted individuals aspiring to travel abroad using illicit means.

New Registration for Official Korean Travel Agents Open Until March 2 2018

Liputan6.com, Jakarta The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Jakarta is opening new registrations for local travel agents to become authorized travel agent or official travel agents to make visa applications to Korea easier for Indonesian tourists.

Currently, there are 14 official travel agents registered at the Korean Embassy Consulate. However, with the high demand for visa applications to Korea, the Embassy plans to increase the number of official travel agents.
